espite the fact that this was a rainy day, Christine and Ben's wedding at the Boston Harbor Hotel was a fantastic celebration at one of the city's most elegant venues. During our initial planning we had set aside a great amount of time for photos with the bride, groom and wedding party before the ceremony, which gave us plenty of time to visit several different locations in the downtown area. We started with the "first look" and a few portraits on the back deck of the hotel's Wharf Room and then headed outside between bouts of rain to the Harborwalk and the steps of the Custom House. I was so impressed with the way Christine decided to just rock it out and completely embrace the weather...luckily she also had an extremely charming husband-to-be, who was there to hold her umbrella every step of the way. The ceremony took place in the Wharf Room, and while guests were at cocktail hour it was then transformed for the wedding reception. Christine and Ben live in California and are huge fans of amazing wine (well really...who isn't?!), but one especially cool detail which I loved was their guest sign-in book, which was simply a bowl full of wine corks that guests could write messages on! The room was decorated with flowers from Winston's Flowers, linens from Table Toppers, and DJ David Pettengill got the crowd dancing all night.
